Abstract
The authors investigated the effect of adrenergic and adrenergic blocking agents on the ATFase
activity of microsomal fraction isolated from rabbit uterus and obtained following results.
1. The uterine microsomal fraction obtained the K}-Na}-activated ATPase in the presence of Mg--.
2. The K+-Na+-activated ATPase was stimulated by the administration of adrenaline, but inhibited
by propranolol and pronethalol, and not influenced by phenoxybenzamine.
3. Adrenaline stimulated KI-Na}-activated ATPase was markedly inhibited by the administration
of propranolol and pronethalol, but not influenced by phenoxybelnzamine.
